Flowcrete has promoted Nick Hyde to the role of Technical Director for its UK operations.

Nick moves into the position from his previous job as the company's technical manager.

Based in South Flowcrete's headquarters Cheshire – Located in Sandbach – Nick is the technical representative of the management team of the UK, with responsibility for all aspects of existing product range and its applications.

Flowcrete is recognized as a pioneer in research and development of new products and systems for the specific needs of industrial and commercial market.

Recent innovations include the fight against MRSA plants containing the natural antimicrobial silver, the rapid plant installation ready for use just two hours after application and systems that are applied using specialized machinery to take the strain the knees and back layers of soil.

Since joining the company in 1996, Nick has been involved in high profile facilities as Selfridges, Oxford Street and Wembley Stadium.

Mark Greaves, managing director of Flowcrete Group said: "Nick brings a wealth of experience to the role and commitment to constantly upgrade and improve the quality of our products in the UK market. "

A graduate of the University of Manchester, Nick, 37, lives in Wilmslow.
